Mural in Far Rockaway
Tuesday, September 27th, 2005 by MollyA friend of mine sent us some photos of a mural she painted with middle school students in Far Rockaway. It was part of an after school program at IS-198 that ran last spring through LEAP NYC (Learning through an expanded arts program). The mural is visible from the A train between Beach 60 street and Beach 44 street. Some of the kids that painted it can even see it from their windows at home. It is a beautiful addition to the urban landscape.
